Sumo Man v0.01
First release of the Sumo Man, implements some of the previous developed features into a very bare bones prototype.
Changes:
  • Added very basic test map
  • Added replicated spark plugs that players collect to repair generators
  • Added sumo man kill ability to send players to the dream state
  • Added ability to chose character (sumo man or player)
Sumo Man v0.02
The second upcoming release of the Sumo Man alpha, with plans to bring major game-play changes by adding the dream realm.
Changes:
  • Rewrote inventory to be much more optimized and practical
  • Added physics drop to all pickup items
  • Added conceptual dream realm room, inputting to procedural generation soon
  • Added main menu map into build
  • Adding way to create and join servers
  • Added basic dream realm ai
  • Added grab doors

Sumo Man v0.03
With our third iteration, we wanted to expand on some previous features.
Changes:
  • Refactored the recent inventory rewrite to follow a server authority model
  • Updated drop effect to add an impulse on drop
  • Updated the dream realm map to a more polished concept
  • Added dream realm monster and improved it's AI
  • Added drivable replicated car
  • Created shader for outlining intractable items
  • Created two new concept maps adding in 4 new locations to explore
Sumo Man v0.04
The forth alpha release, focused heavily on adding in extracts .
Changes:
  • Added train extract that stops for passengers
  • Added new interact and tooltip system for easy iteration
  • Added in electrical box repair mechanic with plug-able cord
  • Added in gate/light mechanic with plug and play interface system
  • Created intractable keypad.
